Punctuality and Attendance

Students must be punctual to classes on every working day. Late-comers should not enter the class without the written permission of the principal / Vice - Principal. If a student comes late for more than three days in a Term he/she may be sent back home. No student may absent himself/herself without obtaining leave previously. Ordinarily the class Teacher shall sanction leave. When a student is absent for more than three days at a stretch or even one day after a total of 12 days of absence, the student must get the sanction of Principal/ Vice Principal. Absence will be indicated in the Attendance Register in the following ways:-

  • If the student has submitted a leave-letter ('L')
  • If no leave-Letter at all ('a')

A student absenting himself/herself from school for 5 days in succession without permission will be marked 'LEFT'. The student will no be re-admitted as a matter of course. If the student is to be re-admitted the student will have to pay a readmission fee of Rs.250/-

A student absenting himself/herself without prior written permission for School functions and on the reopening or the closing days of the Term or after special holidays like Christmas, Deepavalli, Pongal etc., is liable to loose his place.

If the student is re-admitted the student will have to pay re-admission fee of Rs.250/- (with a fine of Rs.50/- for each of absence).
